We invite you to take part in the Stone Industry Fair - KAMIEŃ-STONE!
KAMIEŃ-STONE Fair is co-organised by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie and Geoservice-Christi from Wrocław. Exhibitors came to Poznań in 2012 from different parts of the world, and their products found their recipients among stoneworkers and architects visiting the fair. The exhibition of nearly 300 exhibitors was seen by more than 6,000 visitors, who held talks with representatives of companies, placed orders and bought products presented and participated in the fair events.
Satisfaction with business talks matters most
Exhibitors at KAMIEŃ-STONE, who came to Poznań not only from Poland and Europe, but also from Turkey, India, China and South Africa, were satisfied with interest of professional visitors in their offer. Many signed contracts, establishment of cooperation with new partners contributed to the success of the business aspect of the event. "The fair in Poznań has this advantage over other fairs in Western Europe that here we are not so much overwhelmed by the competition, and our offer is well displayed". – we heard from exhibitors.
Beautiful stone colours and cutting-edge machinery
The exhibition included lots of valuable stone materials, which generated much interest among architects visiting the fair. "I'm sure that I'll establish cooperation with suppliers of natural stone, because I have serious clients who care about elegant and durable, but also very decorative interior design" – told us Katarzyna Dembczyńska, an architect who collected many product catalogues of companies exhibiting at the fair.
Stands presenting stonework machinery, devices and tools also aroused interest among stoneworkers. They included those that make use of the latest technology for high-precision work in stone, and lots of traffic at many stands indicated good sales.
A dose of knowledge and practice
Events organised both for professional visitors and the public attracted considerable interest. The lectures of specialists, among other things, on the use of stone in construction projects, attracted crowds to the Speaker's Corner in Hall 5. At the fair one could also consult with architect Katarzyna Dembczyńska and representatives of H&G Design on integration of stone in interior and garden designs, and sit at the table of Lubosz Karwat's Art Studio and implement one's own idea for a mosaic. The fair was visited by lots of people who value jewellery, which often includes stone as the main decoration, and made purchases at the Minerals and Precious Stones Exchange.
Klaudiusz Awards for the best
An important part of the programme was the 2012 KLAUDIUSZ Awards Competition. Special awards at the KAMIEŃ-STONE fair were granted in three categories: Best Product – tools and machinery to ABRA Sp. z o.o. for Tornado cnc sanding table, Best Product – natural stone to TOWARZYSTWO EKSPLOATACJI SUROWCÓW MINERALNYCH for Stone Bark, and the most attractive stand to RED GRANITI. The awards rendered much service to the distinguished exhibitors, as their stands were heavily crowded.
